We are actively seeking a Business Development Manager, who would ideally be based in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire or Lincolnshire to serve a sales area spreading north and west.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and hardworking power solution Business Development Manager to service the northern parts of England. Sunpower Electronics is a distributor and manufacturer of Switched Mode Power Supplies, DC/DC Converters and AC/ DC Invertors. Being appointed at the first UK Distributor for the MEAN WELL range of power products provides us with an enviable market reputation that further reinforces our market position. We deliver both standard and bespoke power solutions to a wide range of electronic manufacturers in the UK, across Europe and internationally.

The Business Development Manager is tasked with managing the company’s relationships with not only its existing customers within the power segment, building long-term relationships with them but also finding and cultivating new business. Key to this is establishing plans and strategies to expand the customer base into new industry sectors and or new applications whilst maintaining forward order book generation.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
  • Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers
  • Develops and maintains long-term relationships with accounts
  • Development of new accounts including qualification of prospects/opportunities
  • Communicates client needs and demands to the employer company
  • Forecasts and tracks client account metrics
  • Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals
  • Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients
  • Collaborates with the sales team to reach prospective clients
  • Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
  • Keep records of client transactions

Sales Support Specialist

Internal Sales Customer Service Executive Vacancy

Often the first point of contact for our customer base you should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced sales environment where tasks and priorities change regularly. As a motivated and adaptive team player you should be driven to achieve company goals.

Supporting our Industrial Power, OEM Lighting and Electrical Wholesale sales teams as well as developing your own relationships with our customer base the right candidate will have a high level of self-motivation, be a strong communicator, proactive, hardworking and have experience in internal sales and/or sales administration with a customer focus.

As a member of our Sales Support team you will be responsible for troubleshooting customer issues, providing data and guidance to the sales team, liaise with account managers, stay updated on product launches, and suggest sales process improvements. You will ensure that all orders are processed in a timely manner, including responding to customer complaints and queries while also performing administrative tasks to ensure sales targets are achieved. The primary focus is to support the sales team and enhance customer relationships.

Main Responsibilities

  • Professionally handle and direct incoming customer enquiries regarding products and services
  • Take ownership to resolve customer issues’ accurately and efficiently in conjunction with other departments; including accounts, quality, logistics and technical support
  • Sales order processing and progression
  • Provide office based support to field sales

  • Assist in the maintenance of CRM database information to ensure a high standard
  • Maintain regular contact with customer base to maintain and improve end to end sales cycle

Qualifications and experience

  • Have previous experience in customer services, internal sales or a similar role

With plans for future growth we are always on the lookout for experienced, enthusiastic and hardworking Area Sales Managers to work with Electrical contractors and our existing customer base of Electrical Wholesalers under our PowerLed (UK) Ltd entity, a manufacturer and distributor of professional LED lighting and power solutions. You will need to showcase an understanding of the Electrical Wholesale market, bringing a charismatic and dynamic sales approach to the ream and displaying a strong track record of delivering results.

This is a fantastic and challenging opportunity for someone who may have existing relationships with electrical wholesale businesses (e.g. City Electrical Factors, Edmundson Electrical, Eyre & Elliston, Rexel and independent electrical wholesalers).
